Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

Document owner: MLRO / Board of Directors · Version 1.0 · Valid 19 September 2026 – 18 September 2027

1. Purpose

Talonfx LTD (“the Company”, “we”) is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, and the use of its products for financial crime. This policy sets the controls the Company applies when onboarding clients, operating the client portal, USDT wallet, and MetaTrader 5 trading accounts, and when monitoring ongoing activity.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all directors, officers, employees, introducing brokers, and service providers acting for the Company, and to all client relationships (live, demo where relevant to identity, and IB partners).

3. Legal and standards framework

The Company applies a risk-based AML/CFT programme aligned with FATF Recommendations and applicable law in the Union of the Comoros, together with international expectations of payment and banking counterparties. Where a stricter standard is required by a partner or payment rail, that standard is followed for the relevant flow.

4. Roles

  • Board / Directors / UBO: approve this policy, allocate resources, and remain accountable for the AML framework.
  • MLRO: owns day-to-day AML controls, suspicious-activity decisions, training, and reporting to the Board.
  • Operations and support staff: apply CDD procedures, escalate unusual activity, and must not tip off clients.

5. Risk-based approach

Clients and products are assessed for ML/TF risk (geography, product, channel, delivery, and customer type). Leveraged CFDs, crypto-asset funding, and remote onboarding are treated as higher inherent risk and require documented controls rather than simplified due diligence.

6. Customer due diligence

We will not establish a business relationship until identity is verified to a level commensurate with risk. CDD includes:

  • Full legal name, date of birth, nationality, residential address, and contact details
  • Government-issued photo identification and proof of address
  • Nature and purpose of the relationship, expected trading and funding profile
  • Source of funds, and source of wealth where risk is elevated
  • Screening against sanctions, PEP, and adverse-media sources before activation of funding

Corporate and IB applicants require identification of the legal entity, beneficial owners (typically 25% or more, or control), and authorised representatives.

7. Enhanced due diligence

EDD is mandatory for PEPs, clients connected to high-risk jurisdictions, complex ownership, inconsistent funding, or material adverse media. EDD may include additional identity evidence, source-of-wealth documentation, senior-management approval, and closer transaction monitoring.

8. Prohibited relationships

The Company does not provide services to residents of the United States, Turkey, or the United Arab Emirates, or to persons in sanctioned countries or on applicable sanctions lists. Anonymous accounts, numbered accounts, and relationships with shell banks are prohibited.

9. Ongoing monitoring

Transactions (deposits, withdrawals, internal transfers, and trading patterns that inform funding risk) are monitored for activity inconsistent with the client profile. Periodic CDD reviews are triggered by material change, inactivity followed by large flows, or alert disposition. Withdrawals may be delayed or refused pending review.

10. Suspicious activity

Staff must report suspicions internally to the MLRO without delay and without tipping off the client. The MLRO decides whether to file an external suspicious-activity report with the competent authority and whether to freeze or exit the relationship, consistent with law.

11. Record keeping

Identification data, CDD files, screening results, transaction records, and AML decisions are retained for at least five (5) years after the end of the relationship, or longer if required by law or an investigation.

12. Training and independent review

Relevant staff receive AML training at induction and at least annually. The Board will procure an independent review of this framework when risk or scale warrants it, and at least as part of the annual policy refresh.

13. Validity

This AML Policy is approved for publication by the Company’s MLRO or UBO/Director and is valid for twelve (12) months from 19 September 2026, unless replaced earlier. This webpage is the official published version of the policy.

Sanctions and PEP Policy

Document owner: MLRO / Board of Directors · Version 1.0 · Effective 19 September 2026

1. Purpose

This policy describes how Talonfx LTD screens clients and related parties against financial sanctions and how it identifies and manages politically exposed persons (PEPs). It is read together with the AML Policy.

2. Sanctions compliance

The Company will not deal with any individual, entity, or vessel that is designated under United Nations sanctions or under UK, EU, US OFAC, or other regimes that apply to the Company or its payment partners. Screening is performed at onboarding, at regular intervals, and when names or ownership change.

If a true-positive match is identified, the relationship is not opened or is immediately restricted. Funds are not paid away except as permitted by law. The MLRO is notified at once.

3. Restricted and prohibited geographies

In addition to designated persons, Talonfx LTD does not provide services in the USA, Turkey, or the UAE. Applications from comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions, or where we cannot complete verification, are declined.

4. Politically exposed persons

A PEP is a natural person who is or has been entrusted with a prominent public function, their immediate family members, and known close associates. This includes heads of state, senior politicians, senior government, judicial or military officials, senior executives of state-owned enterprises, and important political-party officials — domestic or foreign.

PEPs are not automatically refused. They are subject to:

  • Identification and classification (customer / family / associate; domestic / foreign)
  • Enhanced due diligence and source-of-wealth / source-of-funds evidence
  • Senior-management (MLRO or Director) approval before funding is enabled
  • More frequent review and stricter withdrawal scrutiny

5. Ownership and control

For legal persons, sanctions and PEP screening covers the entity, directors, and beneficial owners. Nominee or opaque structures that prevent identification of the UBO are not accepted.

6. False positives and records

Potential matches are investigated and documented. False positives are closed with a recorded rationale. Screening logs are retained with the CDD file for at least five years.

7. Staff duties

Staff must not process a deposit, withdrawal, or account opening where a sanctions or PEP alert is unresolved. Circumventing screening, or assisting a client to do so, is a disciplinary and potentially criminal matter.

4. Eligibility and restricted countries

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for complying with local law. We may refuse or close accounts at our discretion, including for AML, sanctions, or risk reasons.

You must provide accurate information and keep it current. Email verification is required before funding. You are responsible for passwords, 2FA devices, and MT5 credentials. Notify us immediately of unauthorised access. We may require additional KYC documents at any time.

6. Trading and leverage

Trading forex, CFDs, and other leveraged products is high risk. You can lose some or all of your capital. Leverage of up to 1:500 may be offered where permitted; actual limits are shown when you create an account. Past performance is not a guide to future results. Demo balances are virtual and cannot be withdrawn.

7. Wallet, deposits, and withdrawals

Live funding is processed via the portal wallet in USDT, then allocated to trading accounts. Withdrawals follow the same wallet flow and may be reviewed. We may delay, reverse, or refuse transfers that fail AML/sanctions checks, appear connected to third-party funding, or breach these Terms. Network fees and conversion (if any) are for your account unless we state otherwise.

8. Introducing brokers

IB status, rebates, and reporting are subject to a separate partner arrangement and to these Terms. IBs must not make misleading promotions or onboard clients from restricted countries.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use the services for market abuse, abuse of pricing or latency, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or any unlawful purpose. We may hedge, limit, or close positions and suspend access where we reasonably suspect abuse.

10. Intellectual property

The websites, brand, and portal are owned by Talonfx LTD or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the services for their intended purpose.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, trading losses, market gaps, platform or internet outages, or third-party (including MT5 or blockchain network) failures. Our aggregate liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, or USD 1,000, whichever is greater. Nothing excludes liability for fraud or other liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Termination

You may request account closure by contacting support after open positions are closed and balances withdrawn, subject to AML review. We may suspend or terminate immediately for breach, inactivity, legal requirement, or risk. Remaining balances are returned to the verified wallet destination where law allows.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance. Material changes may also be notified by email where we hold a verified address.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Union of the Comoros. Courts of competent jurisdiction in the Comoros have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
